Ms. Jorey E. Cohen presented her work on the possible interrelationship of Celiac Disease with advanced, sight-threatening age-related macular degeneration (AAMD) today at the 2021 Meeting of The The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). Her presentation is entitled Pleiotropic Loci Exist for Advanced AMD and Celiac Disease. Ms. Cohen is a BIO5 Ambassador and has been a key member of our Mechanistic Studies Branch over the past 1.25 years, where she has focused her scholarship on the gut-retina axis.
