Fellows & Scholars Launch Student Enrichment Series

Undergraduate Fellows and Scholars of the SanGiovanni-Geiser Laboratory have independently designed and launched a professional enrichment series featuring guests from the biomedical field and beyond. The series is ‘for students, by students’ and will include student-speaker engagement on key life-lessons learned in the path from undergraduate experiences forward. Dr. Dawn L. Geiser serves as mentor on the project.

Dr. Lise Alschuler was our inaugural guest. Dr. Alschuler is a naturopathic doctor with board certification in naturopathic oncology, Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Arizona and Assistant Director of the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

The team (in alphabetical order) organizing Dr. Alschuler’s visit includes Emily C. Allerton, Jeanelle J. Bautista, Jorey E. Cohen and Victoria H. Tran.
