We are pleased to announce that Ms. Amy Pacheco-Mata has been selected as the 2022 Outstanding Senior at the University of Arizona College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). Ms. Pacheco-Mata is currently a student in the Department of Nutritional Sciences and has worked with our team for nearly two years. She has diverse experiences acting as a healthcare worker with 1000s of people on the Mexico-U.S. border (UA School of Public Health Mobile Health Unit and MexZona in Puerto Peñasco). Ms. Pacheco-Mata is now serving as President of the University of Arizona Food Science Club. She has acted as a resident advisor for 3 years while excelling in a rigorous academic curriculum (Dean’s List for academic distinction). ¡Estamos orgullosos de ti, Amy! ¡Bien merecido por todo su arduo trabajo y dedicación!
