Victoria Tran Founds APAMSA x Be The Match Competition

Ms. Victoria Tran, a team member in our Integrative Omics Branch is working on the Be The Match project. Ms. Tran is Director of Outreach for the UA Chapter of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA). Her club and chapter have founded the APAMSA x Be The Match competition with goals to increase diversity in the stem blood cell and bone marrow registry. They were recognized by the APAMSA national board, increasing visibility and incentives. This project further supports their mission to commit to addressing unique health challenges whilst developing initiatives and projects addressing those needs both locally, regionally, and nationally.
